On September 22,2011 I attended my first session at BUF . .My weight was escalating upward and my self confidence was at an all time low .Weighing in at 222.2 pounds I realized I had quite a challenge ahead of me. Not being much of an exercise enthusiast I found myself developing a routine with the expert direction of Rachel Spirig. From day 1 I felt very comfortable attending Rachel’s classes. She started me out lifting lighter weights and modifying exercises slowly building me up to do more advanced routines. Rachel was very professional and never ever made me feel uncomfortable. Like everyone with a weight problem I had struggles along the way . Rachel always took the time to help me figure out what I could do to get over any plateaus or get back on track . On June 18 2014 I sadly attended my last session at BUF before moving back to my hometown ……. With a weight loss of 60 pounds ( no strict dieting involved) and 81 inches lost I am very proud to say that Rachel Spirig has been a great inspiration in my life!
